Real Estate Rainmaker Blog Topics for the Week of 3/7/10

How is your blogging going?  Are you sticking to your schedule, posting often enough to not bog you down, but frequently enough to keep home buyers and sellers returning?  No matter how often you blog, you might want a few ideas for blog topics to help get past writer’s block.

Regardless of how often you write, be sure you touch on topics that are timely and helpful to buyers and sellers.  Answer their questions and concerns, predict their questions and interact.  And, check back here every Sunday for one buyer topic and one seller topic. Don’t forget to peruse the blog archive for more buyer and seller topics to use on your blog.

Sellers topic for your blog:

Selling a home involves lots of prep.  However, a touchy topic that may affect a home’s ability to be sold is its odor.  Owners may not even be aware of the smoke/pet/mildew problem, but buyers will notice it immediately upon setting foot in the home.  Outline the various methods to eliminate different types of odors from a home for good (and not simply cover them up).  When the odors disappear, buyers will reappear.

Buyers topic for your blog:

Go over the process of making an offer on a home.  Additionally, explain the art of the offer (and counter offer) for buyers.  Include how working with you, you will including looking at current prices of homes for sale, recent sales prices and pricing trends to help them make the best offer on a new home.

Take a moment to share your blog with us!
