Rainmakers Work Relationships Harder For Listings

Need serious sellers? Direct marketing to your past clients and sphere and “met” database is the foundation for all marketing, Rainmakers are telling us. Why? Because listings (and referrals) come from relationships – not inventory.

In today’s market more and more Rainmakers are reporting that properties (inventory) on the Internet mostly generates buyers. Listings largely come from referrals from your database.

The trick today is to be very very targeted in your marketing. Today marketing needs to be focused. Mail and e-mail to your sphere, your past clients, send open house invitations to an “early showing” for neighbors only. Enlist their help to sell the property and maintain their property values too. Send more thank you notes (some no-so instant messages), make more phone calls. Then re-invest in yourself, in your business.
